President's Message

Dear CFAEP Members and Friends,

I am honored to once again serve as President of the Central Florida Association of Environmental Professionals (CFAEP). Having been actively involved with the organization since 2011, I have had the pleasure of building relationships with many of you. For those I have not yet had the opportunity to meet, I would like to share a little about myself.  I am a Technical Director of Environmental Services at NV5, Inc., with more than 25 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. My expertise includes petroleum and hazardous waste site assessments, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, remedial system installation and operation, permitting, and regulatory compliance. Throughout my career, I have managed large-scale and high-profile contamination assessment and remediation projects for gas stations, commercial and industrial facilities, agricultural properties, and transportation infrastructure projects.

I am excited to welcome our new class of Directors and am confident they will continue the strong tradition of leadership established by their predecessors. Please join me in congratulating the following Board Members:

  • Erika Bocchino-Drew, Vice President

  • John Lucarelli, Treasurer

  • Johnathon Fabrizio, Secretary

  • Shannon Boyle, Board Member

  • Alexis Seecharan, Board Member

  • Blake Meinecke, Board Member

  • Celina Amaya, Board Member

  • Christy Cherrington, UCF Liaison

On behalf of the CFAEP Board of Directors, I would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to outgoing board members Niki Wright and Flormari Blackburn. Thank you both for your dedication, service, and commitment to the organization over the past several years.

I encourage all members to become involved in CFAEP activities throughout the year. Whether attending our networking events, Orlando Magic game, trivia night, luncheon presentations, or annual golf tournament, these events provide valuable opportunities to connect with colleagues, expand your professional network, and support our environmental community.

I look forward to an exciting and successful year ahead. Please do not hesitate to reach out with suggestions for the organization or if you are interested in serving in a future Board or Committee position. We welcome your ideas, involvement, and support as we continue to strengthen CFAEP and serve our members.

Sincerely,

Amy Guilfoyle
President, CFAEP
